Right now, the sitting President of the United States of America is throwing a temper tantrum on Twitter. You may be thinking this is just another day in the political life of modern America but today he’s doing it because he’s losing an election and he doesn’t like to lose.
Naturally, people like me have been taking the absolute p*ss out of him for it; because this is the Internet and we’ve got nothing better to do during lockdown. “STOP THE COUNT!” he tweeted. Our collective responses have been to find random photos of Counts and ask him if this is the Count he wants stopped.

We’re just having a little fun at the expense of a guy who’s totally losing it over an election result. It may look a little like we’re kicking a guy while he’s down (and maybe it is a little bit of that) but sometimes you have to give out a little bit of tough love to those who are acting out.
I’ve a bit of experience in the area of losing an election, as you may recall. Sometimes the vote doesn’t go your way. That’s democracy for you. You do your best, make the best case for re-election you can, and then it’s up to the people to decide who they want for the next four years. Sometimes they choose to replace you with someone else. It hurts but it’s their right.
You can’t go into politics expecting the results to always go your way. The world doesn’t work like that. You just have to suck it up, do better next time and go from there.
