The Cost of Bolton Not Having A Five-Year Plan

I asked the Council what the cost to the taxpayer was of Bolton Council admitting it does not have a robust five-year plan and then not replacing their no longer adequate plan with a new one.

The Labour group claimed there has been no cost, which I cannot believe for one second since we are routinely losing planning appeals thanks to not having a robust five-year plan. They seem to think it hasn’t cost the taxpayer anything because having no five-year plan wasn’t the only factor in those losses.

Did they not read the question, or did they just not understand it?
