Today I wrote to GM Mayor Andy Burnham about the policing issues in Westhoughton and Chew Moor.
We were recently told he has recruited new police officers, so I have asked that we get additional police for Westhoughton from that new influx.
It is not acceptable that Westhoughton and Chew Moor, one of the largest areas in the Bolton borough, should be required to work with so few police numbers. We need better for our community.
