I’ve worked in publishing in one form or another since the Nineties and it has changed a lot over the years. The Internet has not been the Great Leveller that people expected. In many ways, it has made things an awful lot more difficult for everyone. Still, that’s the world we live in and we have to make the most of it. Take this advice from someone who’s been around the block a fair few times and you’ll be better set to succeed.
