I believe Britain can be a strong, independent nation after we leave the European Union, and I believe that we can be a strong, independent nation if we leave on WTO Rules.
The motion brought by the Liberal Democrats to the last Council meeting flew in the face of the democratic vote of the people of Westhoughton, the people of Bolton and elsewhere in the UK. There is no case for a second referendum.
There is no need for a second referendum. We are leaving the European Union.
